My favorite niece; very young and creative, shadowed me at Angel & Drew wedding and took over the 2nd camera for the day! Fidel took over the bag boy position. I think he enjoyed the relaxing job.

Some more images from the wedding.

It was a beautiful sunny Saturday in June – perfect day for a wedding! Angel & Drew are darling together. It was a small & intimate wedding with very close family. Angel and Drew each have 2 children and are joining two families together. All four of their kids were the attendants.

Although the day had a few delays and no itinerary everything fell into it’s place and everyone was happy and joyful. Angel and Drew, very much in love gushed over each other and it was just too cute! Beautifully simple and memorable wedding.

Saint Paschal Parish – Oakland, CA

Angel was late to the ceremony. Drew joked about it later in his toast to his new bride. Last glimpse of angel – before she stepped out to become Drew’s wife.

This was inspired by a fellow flickr photographer. Loving it. The couple were up for anything.

What a beautiful cake.

Reception – Faz at the Four Point Sheraton in Pleasanton, CA

Thank you Angel & Drew for having us capture your beautiful event. May your years together be filled with love and enduring happiness.

Whew…what a long break. Been laggin on my bloggin lately, day job keeps me busy. Plus keeping up with family events keeps me from updating.

The last shoot was at the end of April an E-Session for Maria & Ublado from the central valley. The shoot location was at Stanislaus State University in Turklock, CA. Both are students at Stanislaus State. Maria & Ublado are young, energetic an so in love. Can’t wait to shoot their wedding in November.

Spent Saturday afternoon with a bunch of interesting photographers taking pictures at the BAS Group Meet at Cuesta Park in Mountain View. I learned and picked up on a few tricks and tips. Models were really great. It was a very nice turnout and got some really great shots. The afternoon was perfectly overcasted with patches of sunshine peeking through…gorgeous lighting. Although this group is off camera flash photography group…the lighting was so perfect in some areas that extra flash lighting was not needed. Many of the photographer’s had the pocket wizard trigger, which I got a chance to use – very impressive. I now understand that it is not overpriced but well worth it’s very high price. But for now Cactus triggers will have to do.

I was the only female photographer in attendance. My better half was schedule to go as well but was called off for a business trip to Singapore. I guess he’ll just have to wait til the next meet. There were 3 models that showed up for the shoot.
I had brought my wedding dress to contribute to the cause. It needed a cleaning so might as well get it dirty before I take it to the cleaners and get it preserved. It was a nice first time experience and I look forward to the next meet.
